I was born in a small village in 1989 in the northern part of The Netherlands. I grew up in the country side, which taught me to enjoy being outside, enjoy nature and appreciate the smell of fresh air.

My love for travel started at the age of 17, when I packed my bags and went to work as a PADI Divemaster in Greece and Egypt. Through working abroad I first got in touch with the freedom and state of mind that come with travelling.

I’ve always had a strong interest in photography, but it wasn’t until the most recent years of my life that I actually bought a decent camera and started taking photos. Travel photography is my way of telling stories. Stories of people, places and faces that I encounter. I firmly believe that travelling is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. By seeing more of the world you learn more about people, cultures and their history, as well as learning more about yourself.

In november 2017 I started a trip around South East Asia, which went through Nepal, Tibet, India, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam. Most of the pictures on my site will have been taken in one of these beautiful countries.
